Preparing a Future Student

Optimizing DE classes:

One of the greatest benefits of Dual Enrollment is the ability to optimize the student’s time by gaining high school and college credits simultaneously. However because of varying umbrella school, high school requirements and student’s unique interests the best picture will be different for each student. the student’s educational choices during ninth and tenth grades will greatly effect the benefit that he or she will be able to gain during DE classes. We are eager to help you discover the path which will best fit your student. If you wish to set up a meeting with the Director of the Institute to discuss options please contact Ginny Walker at ginny.walker@genevainstitute.org.

SAT and ACT tests:

In order to qualify for the June Lunceford scholarship and fully optimize the TN Dual Enrollment Grant it is important that students take the SAT or ACT before enrolling with the institute.
